Samsung Galaxy Note 3 could miss its octa-core release
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is not expected to be unveiled until early September, but the octa-core variation of the handset is already reportedly facing delays.

With the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 having been tipped to be the first eight-core smartphone to make it to British shores after the octa-core Samsung Galaxy S4 was replaced by a quad-core option for UK users, latest reports have claimed the phone is now facing delays.

While claimed production and overheating issues have reportedly forced Samsung into delaying the launch of the Exynos 5420 octa-core Galaxy Note 3, the Snapdragon 800 quad-core rendition of the device is still reportedly on track for launch. Both versions of the phone were originally tipped for a UK release with different networks said to have secured the two options.

Having teased the device in its ‘Note the date’ themed invites, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 release date is widely expected to be confirmed during the manufacturer’s September 4, IFA 2013 Mobile Unpacked press conference.

Expected to enter the realms of reality alongside the much mooted Samsung Galaxy Gear Smartwatch, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is expected to launch in standard black and white colour options with a more vibrant pink handset coming later in the year.

A phone still shrouded in much rumour and confusion, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 specs sheet has been said to feature everything from a 5.5-inch to 6.3-inch display. At present it is expected that a 5.7-inch screen size is on the cards alongside a 13-megapixel rear-mounted camera a 3GB of RAM.

Tipped to run the newly launched Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 features list could be bolstered by a sizeable 3,200mAh Lithium-Ion battery and 1080p Full HD visuals.
